Questions

Final expense questions

What does a funeral cost?

A traditional funeral with burial runs $10,000 to $15,000 in most of the country. Cremation with a service is typically $5,000 to $10,000.

Is there a waiting period?

Depends on your health. If you qualify for a level plan, full coverage starts day one. Graded and guaranteed issue plans pay a return of premium plus interest for the first two years, then the full benefit. We tell you which one you qualify for before you decide.

Can I be turned down?

Some health conditions do not qualify for a level plan. In that case we look at graded or guaranteed issue options, which accept most applicants within the age range.
